The agreement with Tirana on migrants “provides that Albania will give Italy the possibility to use some areas, under Italian jurisdiction, where two structures can be built: in the first port area, Italy will “create the first reception center”, while in the more inland area “the second the structure will be built on the model of the CPR”. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in her social column ‘Giorgia’s Notes’. “The jurisdiction within them will be entirely Italian”, adds Meloni, but “Albania will cooperate with its police forces on security and external supervision of structures”.
